About Toronto-Danforth

Cross the Don Valley into Toronto-Danforth, and you cross into a truly remarkable place; a vibrant community of citizens committed to each other, and to the world around them.

Toronto-Danforth is a diverse riding, a unique cross-section of foods, languages and peoples who make their homes in areas such as Greektown on the Danforth, Gerrard India Bazaar and East Chinatown.

Toronto-Danforth is a creative riding. From the film studios centred in the south end of the riding to the hundreds of artists who make their homes in our communities, one need only attend the annual Riverdale Share concert during the holiday season to be amazed at the talent contained within our boundaries.

Toronto-Danforth is an evolving riding. Young couples in their first homes live side-by-side with families who have made their homes in the area – on the same street, in the same house – for decades.

Toronto-Danforth is a riding that anyone would be proud to represent.
