Health Care
The Liberal Party is proud of the fact he we introduced universal health care to Canada. The multitude of problems facing our health care system cannot be solved by any individual provincial government but require a collaborative effort. Our party has proven time and again to be the only one capable of finding consensus amongst all the Provinces. Reducing wait times, increasing access to services and ensuring affordable medication will be priorities of a Liberal Government. These are attainable goals but will not be attained by pitting one Province against another or by making unrealistic promises that will never have to kept. Canada’s Health System is universally accessible and universally respected. A Liberal government will defend our single tier system against Harper’s desire to privatize.
